2021

Integrative Practice Webinar Series #12: (November 12, 2021): Addressing Chronic Pain and Integrating Physical Function Services into Community Health Centers, with Heidi B. Miller, MD, and Amanda Harris. This presentation highlights the St. Louis Regional Health Commission’s (RHC) Chronic Pain Initiative. The talk focuses on the three major work streams of the initiative: policy reform, public health communications, and clinical improvement. The majority of the presentation reviews lessons learned from integrating physical function services (chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture, and occupational therapy) into St. Louis-based community health centers. Justin Goehl, DC, MS, Primary Spine Care, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center spoke with us about the Primary Spine Care model; Triage, management, and referral strategies for patients; Various stakeholders involved in implementation of Integrative Care; Evaluation methods including formal reviews and peer to peer; Financial challenges that may emerge; and Accepted methods of communication among HCPs.

Integrative Clinic Webinar Series #6: The Ottawa Integrative Cancer Centre (June 2018)
Joint ACIH Clinical and Education Working Group presentation and discussion. Dugald Seely, ND, MSc, FABNO, Founder & Executive Director, Ottawa Integrative Cancer Centre spoke with us about his experiences in establishing the OICC, patient management strategies, and barriers and facilitators encountered. 

Integrative Clinic Webinar Series #5: Integrative Health Center Clinicians in the Logan University system (February 2018)
